The company's much touted "no tipping required" policy has been eliminated for a pre-paid tipping policy of $10 per person, per day.

While Holland America's fleet cruises worldwide, it maintains a very strong presence in Alaska, doing a very professional job of both shore tours, and pre- and post-cruise land excursions.

The HAL fleet has grown dramatically since the early 1990's.
