Mike Andrews...

Mike Andrews was educated in the United Kingdom and spent the first part of his working life serving with the British Army at home and abroad.

Mike has been involved in direct sales since the early eighties and gained an enormous level of experience based on property sales and financial services in the UK and Europe.

Mike has over 20 years of executive and sales management experience gained working in established and start up business environments internationally.

He has solid experience of building and leading sales, marketing and operational teams and growing successful on-demand businesses in the resort, leisure, property and rewards industries.

During the last sixteen years he been responsible for the creation, operation and sale of resorts, travel clubs, loyalty programmes and membership clubs, in various parts of the world including Europe, Thailand, Pakistan, India, USA and the UAE.

Mike's expertise and standing within the lifestyle and leisure industry is well recognised and his 'coal face' experience combined with excellent problem solving and analytical skills brings an exceptional level of knowledge and ability to the Company. This ensures the products marketed deliver value for money to the consumer and add real value.

Based on his experience with other international lifestyle and leisure clubs Mike is committed to making the products offered by One Vacation Club unique and appealing to a wide ranging audience around the world.

John Rummery...

John Rummery was educated in Australia where he has spent most of his extensive career in retail banking and payments operations, rising to the ranks of senior management within West Pac Banking Corporation, one of Australia’s leading banks.

At WestPac, John had senior management responsibility for systems technology, business recovery, new banking applications and merchant acquiring.

In 1997, John moved to the Middle East to the role of General Manager for Network International, one of the region’s leading third party card processing bureaus. Between then and 2004, John was given further responsibility within the Emirates Bank Group, becoming General Manager of Diners Club, UAE, and a board director of ELCO (Emirates Loyalty Company) responsible for introducing the region’s first smart loyalty card programme.

John also had management accountability for all aspects of Emirates Bank’s card programmes (issuing and acquiring) - one of the largest card portfolios in the Middle East.

In recognition of his considerable knowledge and experience in both traditional and EMV card processing, John was invited by Visa International in 2002 to become a Technical Advisor, where he represented the Middle East on this global business advisory board..

John has a wealth of experience in card payment operations and processing in both Asia and the Middle East, spanning over 20 years. He is well versed in all aspects of EMV chip technology, having masterminded the EMV strategy and migration plan for the Emirates Bank Group (implementing EMV standards for both Visa and Master Card, incorporating a major integrated multi-function loyalty application). He also project managed the establishment of a Visa-certified third party EMV personalisation bureau within Network International.

John is now in addition to his duties as a Director of One Vacation Club applying his experience in both debit and credit card management in a consultancy role with OVC FZC, our Middle East management consultancy arm, where he is currently working extensively throughout the Middle East, Australia and South East Asia.

One of John’s great strengths is his ability to apply his knowledge of EMV and smart card technology in a very practical and “hands-on” way, providing valuable advice and guidance in an easy to understand manner.

This hands on no nonsense approach is applied to the strategies he helps One Vacation Club customers develop when they use OVC as an acquisition or retention tool.
